Sooooo utterly disapppointed in The Courier Guy Head Office and Hennopspark!!!

The Courier Guy was such a disappointment with my last delivery! I always use them and it was really a shock on how they handled the situation and couldn't find the cause of the mistake they made.

I had a parcel sent to me with something very valuable. (As I trusted their service) Tuesday 11 July Head Office phoned me and said that they were struggling to locate my address which was strange because they've delivered here before. I said no problem please deliver to The Courier Guy Hennopspark I will fetch it there. It was supposed to be an overnight delivery but then I had to wait another 24h. I tracked my parcel and saw that my parcel was delivered. As I was leaving my phone rang and a random lady phoned me to inform me that The Courier Guy Hennopspark phoned her daughter and said that she must collect her parcel. She then went and collected MY parcel, opened it up and then realized it was not for her????? My name and contact number was written on the bag with a black marker. But on the waybill it said **Susan Smith**not her real name with her number. But the original waybill had my details written on it. So somewhere in the process the receivers details MINE was changed to **Susan Smith** on the waybill but on the parcel it was still my details.

I went to The Courier Guy Hennopspark and I am utterly disappointed on how they handled the situation especially when the branch manager told me if I don't want to go and pick my parcel up myself then it's not that important to me??? ***

I just feel it was not my mistake, no one took responsibility at that stage and no one could tell me WHO changed the waybilll details

I had to drive to Irene to fetch my parcel that was ripped open and my stuff taken out and looked at. My husband past away in Aug'22 and I had my wedding ring redone so that I can still wear it and this happened. So to make it even worse the people who went to fetch my parcel was angry at me because I asked them if the daughter can maybe bring my parcel back and didnt she see that it was not for her?

I was treated poorly by The Courier Guy and the other client who collected my parcel and opened it up. I am thankful that they phoned me to inform me but the whole situation was so unfortunate and I am SO disappointed in the :(((( I don't even want to give you 1 star!
