SHOCKING SERVICE FROM THE COURIER GUY

On Thursday 04/08/2022 I sent a parcel from Bloemfontein to Johannesburg with an overnight delivery instruction. I was quoted a price for the parcel, which I accepted and paid, thus a contract for services to be delivered by The Courier Guy and me exists. The terms of the contract is that the parcel must be delivered the following morning before 11:00 at the price quoted and paid. The Courier Guy did not deliver the parcel in the said time - which constitute a breach of contract. In fact, till now the parcel has not be delivered. After numerous attempts to contact the branch I eventually got assistance from the Whatsapp line (Rosina) stating that there was a payment intervention on the package, and the package will not be delivered until the payment intervention was finalized, which is unacceptable and the price was determined in the beginning by The Courier Guy, furthermore no one from The Courier Guy made contact with me. There is just no concern about clients. Why do you offer an overnight service at an additional charge if you have no intention of delivering in the agreed upon time - as per your own policy? SHOCKING.
