Shocking service for SMME's
When the lockdown started, Courier Guy made used of third parties to help deliver essential service packages. Every time a parcel of mine ended up in a wrong province, they blamed the third party. I had to pay for every wrong delivery even if I had to wait two weeks for a parcel. Since the country moved to level 4, Courier Guy was back to full capacity, meaning no more third parties. I had a collection booked from Jhb to the Northern Cape on the 18th on May. Package was collected from Jhb and send to East London and then to PE. For the last week my package have been sitting at PE. Nobody can tell me why my package was send to PE, nobody even bothers to get back to me. After a long fight, they allocated my package today on the 26th May, only to find out I will only be receiving my package 5 days (1 June) later. Charging me the full amount for their failure to deliver. They are not even willing to over night this package to me at their expense. Because of this late delivery, my customer canceled the order. Who is going to pay for this?? All they have to say is, sorry. Sorry won't help me survive during this lock down. Clearly a small SMME like ours, that brings in R3K - R5K a month means nothing to them. Then I'll gladly take my small change and business elsewhere.
