Shocking Service

Bought items online from Makro. The Courier Guy is their preferred delivery service provider. Date for delivery confirmed by Makro and The Courier Guy. Received a phone call from The Courier Guy telling me that they have 80 parcels to deliver and will deliver my parcel the next day. They also suggested I fetch my parcel from their depot which is also absolute BS. I don't care if you have a 1000 parcels to deliver. If a date is communicated to the customer, you need to stick to it. If the agreement requested my street address to deliver the parcel, why should I come to collect it. The Courier Guy then said they will get my parcel to me on the agreed date as per communication sent to me. This was utter BS as nothing was delivered. As things stand NOTHING has been delivered and half the day is already gone. I will NEVER do business with The Courier Guy ever again and will tell the hundreds of friends about this. I will also use this experience when I teach the hundreds of students I have about what poor service delivery is all about. It will give the students insight into a real world lived experience which I had.
