Rude Staff at Brackenfell Courier Guy Capetown

On Wednesday 21 June 2023 I went to courier guy Brackenfell Capetown round about 1630. They were about to close and were not happy to see me at all. The guy who was helping me told me not to write addresses on my pudo boxes but write locker numbers and pin as they would print it out the addresses themselves. They were in a big rush that they didn't even book my parcels that very same day.

Thursday morning I checked up my parcels and saw that they were not yet booked and still pending. My clients started calling them to check if I had really dropped the parcel that's when they booked almost after 11am.

Here is the problem. The parcel that was supposed to go to Bloemfontein was dropped in Upington and the parcel that was supposed to be dropped on Upington was dropped in Bloemfontein. How that happened I don't know because I have a picture of the boxes and I put correct locker numbers on each box. This was Clealy courier guys mistake.

Today Monday I called the Brackenfell branch and told them my issue. The white lady who works there and apparently I was told that she is the one who did the bookings was given the phone. She was so defensive and and didn't even give me time to explain my story. I told her it was the courier guys mistake as I had pictures of the boxes and the lockers numbers are correct I didn't switch the lock numbers. She told me that I should see what to do because this was not her problem and it's my problem. How rude!!!

I have been Courier guy Ottery , been to courier guy bellville and courier guy depot trust me I have never had anyone speaking to me like that. Staff in those kiosks are the best offer very good service ,always cheerful and make us feel at home . The workers in all those couriers offer the best service in the world and I am still shocked why this white lady at the Brackenfell kiosk couldn't even tell me politely that she made a mistake and atleast apologize. This affected my day as a black woman I am already thinking it's because of my color coz I have seen how they run around when it's a white person in the kiosk but as for me it's angry faces. I will never set my foot at Brackenfell Courier guy even though it's next to my house because now I am sure they will keep making mistakes and say it's my problem not theirs and I have to books again with my money when it is their fault.
