Read for comedic relief because at this point thats all The Courier Guy in Mafikeng exists for

On Saturday 21st September I booked a parcel collection in Mafikeng, It was assigned on the same day at 07:42, rejected on Monday 23rd at 07:01, assigned at 07:03. On that day, the sender was not available for pick up and got a call from TCG Mafikeng to say that another collection would be scheduled on Wednesday 25th September. On Wednesday 25th September, I got an email saying that the parcel would be collected on Thursday 26th September.

Imagine my surprise this morning when I get an email that my collection has been cancelled because they attempted a collection yesterday yet the sender was home all day long on Wednesday and Thursday. After having received that email I interrogate the information shared with me and get responses from at least 3 different people. One saying there were 2 collection attempts on the 23rd, and the second one sharing a screenshot of Google Maps with the sender's address and saying that there was a collection attempt and the courier found no one at the house, the sender's phone was off and the parcel wasn't ready, the third one saying there was a collection attempt on Wednesday but the sender's phone was on VM and there was no one at home.

Now I start emailing these people because I want to understand which of the stories is the right one and also if you attempt to collect and the sender if upfront about something coming up and makes alternative arrangements with the courier, how do we then get to a place where we say a second collection attempt was made on the same day? And if those 2 collection attempts were made on the same day, why are we both receiving communication about alternative arrangements?

I don't know what's happening at the depot in Mafikeng but it honestly just feels like they are making up stories to keep people's money.
