R14000.00 damages to shipped product, no resolve

I asked for a quote for a item that was worth R20000 to be shipped to USA and made it clear that I needed it to be insured. I received a quote back via email with (Insurance incl.) as the heading of my email. When the item arrived in USA it had so badly damaged it looked like it had been thrown from a very high height!!! It had no fragile stickers on the box, which I had requested when the courier picked it up. The damages have amounted to R14000.00 of damages. They claim they are not liable due to the terms and conditions which I understand, but when seemingly malicious acts have been acted out and the neglect to place fragile stickers on a item insured for R20000.00 you have to ask yourself,\what type of operation are they running there?". And to re-emphasize the fact that they had insurance incl. in the heading of the email tells me that someone is not looking after there clients and neglecting to keep there customers protected from potential problems.
