Pudo lack of communication, resulting in me paying more

I recently made an online purchase for a jacket from a highly respected company. They utilise Pudo as one of their courier services. However, it has been three weeks now, and I'm still eagerly awaiting the arrival of my package. To my surprise, the Pudo website indicates that my parcel has already been delivered, which is far from the truth. Upon reaching out to them, I was informed that my package had actually been returned to their hub. What frustrates me is the lack of communication on their part. They didn't bother to contact me to verify the accuracy of the address, nor did they provide any updates regarding the delivery or return of my order. As a result of their failure to execute these basic procedures, I'm now forced to go through the hassle of rebooking my order and paying for it once again. I won't be surprised if the system fails again just so that they can make money out of me again. I would not recommend their service.
