Poor courier service

I recently used Courierguy for the delivery of a parcel from Jhb to Herm****. I was quoted R350 for goods to be collected from Jetpark, Jhb. I gave the estimated size of the parcel and the person from the Herm**** kiosk filled in her own size, totally wrong. The morel of the story is simple. I ended up paying R5800.00 for the part. I understand the size of the parcel was much bigger, due to incompetence of the Company that packed the part. But and here is my big BUT I should have been contacted by Thecourierguy prior to moving the parcel whereas I would have cancelled the order. But no , they took it upon themselves to deliver the parcel. I have trying to contact them but to no avail. I get the same dump excuses from the person responsible for this mess. It seems I'm speaking to a brick wall. Trying to contact a responsible person with brains to handle my query seems impossible. What a PATHETIC response from a well know and used courier is beyond my imagination.
