I am utterly disgusted with Pudo / The Courier guy, and their lack of empathy is astonishing. I couriered a package from Augrabies to the Dalpark Pudo locker, which I intended to collect from the Dalpark Pudo locker on Sunday 29 September 2024. When I arrived at the locker on Sunday at about 14:00, the pin code I was given didn't work. Two hours an agent called me to inform me that I was too late to collect the parcel from the locker. I asked him to give me a new PIN, since the parcel was still in the locker when he called. He refused to give me a new PIN. The drivers were at the locker, and when I asked him whether I can get my belongings from the drivers, he refused. I was told the parcel would be at Nortmead on Monday at 09:00. We are from Walmeranstad, and only went to Brakpan for the weekend, so I stayed on Monday to pickup my parcel from Benoni, only to be told I can only get it on Tuesday. I cannot afford to wait another day, as live 340Km from Benoni. Now I am being told my parcel will be sent to Johannesburg and I need to make alternative arrangements. I cannot and will not drive 680Km to get my personal belonging which is now being held hostage. Why can't you send it to the Ottosdal or Walmeranstad Pudo lockers as I have requested?? Is it more important to make a mere R100 profit, than to resolve a client's issue??
