PATHETIC SERVICE - THE COURIER GUY

What unprofessional service from The Courier Guy. On 24 June I asked them to collect a parcel for me in Pretoria, i gave them the address and the persons contact details with clear instructions to CALL THE CLIENT beforehand to arrange time and date for collection, seeing that she works shifts. On 5 July i had to contact them to follow up on what is going on. The lady at our local branch advised me that THE COURIER GUY TOOK IT UPON THEMSELVES TO CANCELL THIS COLLECTION, because they did not find the client at the address given.

How on earth can the courier guy just cancel a collection, without even trying to contact me back for an alternative number. I called the person where parcel was suppose to be collected and she informed me that NO ONE contacted her from The Courier Guy, not even a miss call. (take note: after my instructions was to call the client first to arrange time to collect).

I will never make use of The Courier Guy again!!!! Who gave them the right to just decide they are cancelling a job, without even contacting me to advise me of the problem?????? I was on the phone with the lady at our local Courier Guy when i called my client from another phone and she answered.... but the claimed they could not get a hold of my client???

Today, 13 July, I called my client to ask if she was contacted, and she advised me that they collected the parcel on Thursday/Friday, but still, I did not receive the parcel or even an update from The Courier Guy with regard to this. This is absolutely pathetic service. I cannot believe that a Courier Company can be so.... careless about their clients. It seems as if they do not care about customer service or keeping customers happy...

Well CONGRATULATIONS courier Guys, you just lost a client. I will NEVER make use of your services again.
