Pathetic Service from Courier guy

My son ordered an item from amazon for same day delivery. So he paid extra for same day delivery. We have still not received delivery of the item . I have called the Courier guy twice today on my second call, I was told that the delivery never went out today and the supervisor can explain. Twice today I have held on for the supervisor with no success of speaking to them. this pathetic customer service and absolutely no accountability is unacceptable. Amazon needs to consider cancelling the contract with this courier services as this isnt the first time that I have had this issue.
