PATHETIC SERVICE

I am absolutely disgusted by the service I have received from The Courier Guy!

I have sent important documents via an overnight package from Durban to Johannesburg on Tuesday. I received a message saying that it was delivered on wednesday morning only to find out the recipient has not received the documents I have sent.

I then called the courier company on wednesday and after numerous attempts and being transferred to different departments I managed to get ahold of the operations manager who called the driver whilst I was on the phone.

The driver states on the call that ' he was busy that day because had to do two deliveries in that area, he then proceeds to say that he left it with a lady in the office directly next door to the recipient and he did not get her to write her name on the waybill to accept the package'

I therefore said OK, even though I had no idea who he has delivered the package to and called the recipient saying the package was next door to her, she responds by saying there is no other ladies in the office on her floor and she has emailed everyone in the building and no one has received any package.

I called the courier company back and the manager says that he will get the driver to go back to the building, 'retrace his steps' on wednesday afternoon or thursday morning and rectify his mistake.

I thereafter called the recipient yesterday afternoon thinking she had received the documents and she said she has stilled not received anything, at this point I have still not received any messages/emails or calls from the courier company.

I then called the operations manager again and he was absolutely rude to me, saying that his driver went back and the lady who he initially wrongfully gave the package to did not want to give him back, yet they did not make me aware of this. He then proceeded to make this whole situation my fault and was literally screaming at me when I asked him to solve the issue.

The courier guy has still not delivered my overnight package containing important university documents to the right recipient 3 days later and I still have no idea who has the package as they don't want to do anything to solve this matter!
