Pathetic Service

Totally pathetic customer service! I arranged to have an important package collected and delivered to me, which they accepted, but when the driver arrived to collect the store had forgotten about the collection. Instead of calling me, the driver just left. I asked if the driver could return but they refused. I spoke to the manager to who refused to take any responsibility and said that I would have to pay R450 over and above the cost of the delivery to return to collect and deliver the same day. If they had just contacted me when they had the problem at the store it could have been sorted out in a few minutes, or I could have gone to fetch the package myself (since I needed it by that evening)- but there was absolutely no compassion or interest from The Courier Guy. They are definitely not interested in servicing their clients! (Proven also by the numerous complaints in this website and their lack of response to them)
