Overcharged by useless, unprofessional Courier Guy employees.

The Courier Guy - Muizenberg/Lakeside.

The employees at courier guy Muizenberg (Main Road Lakeside, Cape Town Southern Suburbs) were so unprofessional and unhelpful. They overcharged me by almost 100% and provided very, very subpar service.

1) They charged me for a 6kg package (R165) despite my package weighing 2kg (R120).

2) They charged me an additional fee (R26) for petrol.

3) They charged another additional fee (R20) for putting my items in a package. When I questioned why this would be an extra charge, they put my item in a black bin bag. An actual bin bag. They did not even offer a fly bag. I had to get my own bag and my own stuffing, which they of course then wanted to include as the charged-for weight.

4) They wanted to charge me for "overnight delivery" and told me that it would get to the destination (a city 500km away) in 8 days' time. I got to the kiosk at 1:30pm on a Thursday, but they said that Thursday was a write off (no explanation why), for some unknown reason so was Friday, and they do not work on Saturdays or Sundays. On the Monday they were not working because there was a pubic holiday on the Tuesday. So because of ONE public holiday on a Tuesday, there were unable to do any work for 6 days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday). Claiming that overnight delivery takes 8 days (or maybe 9) is a complete joke.

Shocking, terrible, slow, unprofessional service and disgraceful overcharging. What a joke of a company.
