Outrageous Pricing - beware The Courier Guy

In July 2024 I sent to 2 mountain bikes from Pietermaritzburg to Uitenhague to have some modifications. The one bike was fully assembled and the other in a box. The Courier price for the 2 bikes was R 741.00. I have received those same bikes back + 1 small box of items and the charge is now R 9035. 00. I have emailed the supervisors at head office and they refuse to budge, and say the space the bikes take and the added weight + the box of extra items incur such a price.

I am disgusted with The Courier Guy where the items have increased possibly by 20%, but no more, and hence the Courier charge should reflect a price that is far more modest. I believe this is ******ion! I had an entire solar system delivered in 2023 which included 2x inverters, 4 x big lithium batteries and 12 x 560W solar panels by lorry to my house (and not to the depot) and it cost R 4300.00. There is something going on at The Courier Guy..
