No service from The Courier Guy.

I recently made the mistake of trying to use The Courier Guy to return a parcel that was brought into SA on a Carnet de Passages, to the USA. After calling TCG Boksburg twice I was assured that they could send it back to the USA. They accepted my large amount of money, the parcel and correctly completed Carnet documentation, only to inform me four (4) days later that they needed a commercial invoice to ship. No amount of explaining that there was no commercial transaction (therefore no invoice, but a Carnet instead) and inviting them to Google what a Carnet is, could make them understand the process. This, after I had already cleared the parcel through Customs and provided documentary proof thereof. After numerous messages and calls, I was finally able to drive from Pretoria to Boksburg again six (6) days after paying them, to retrieve my parcel and take it to Fedex, who processed it seamlessly. What a waste of time and money. I am still waiting for a refund.
