Lying drivers, useless call canter

Again poor service from a terrible courier company topped up by non committal answers or action from the call center. Avoid this business if you can. A Courier Guy driver claimed, via email, that they had attempted to deliver a package but failed because nobody was home. Not a single phone call has been made to my phone or the main estate gate and this is factual. This means, no driver has been anywhere near our complex or our area. All we got was an sms in the morning saying that the package would be out for delivery today. I called the company and they couldn’t assist for some obscure reason and they asked me call back later after 2pm. At 2:06pm I called back and was transferred to some guy who told us that they currently do not have any drivers so the delivery could be sent tomorrow or Monday. I posed the question “what happens when drivers are lying about delivery” the person I spoke to, could not give me an answer. On top of that he also had an attitude problem simply because I asked the relevant questions. I said to him, it’s past two in the day and you’re telling me you don’t have any drivers? Meanwhile they **** and don’t face consequences for not? He simply said his only solution was to send the delivery the next day - a Saturday, when we won’t be home all day. When we said this was unacceptable he basically shrugged his shoulders and effectively said “well there’s nothing I can do beyond that” This is not the first time that we’ve experienced this sort of ******* from courier guy and its drivers and will no longer use this service as it’s not client orientated. They don’t care about the client and their drivers, much like their call center, are lazy and dishonest.

Don’t use this service. Rather pay somebody more to deliver your goods
