Incompetence at its best!

Yesterday I deposited a parcel in LOCK*** at Westgate Mall, Mitchell's Plain, which was supposed to be delivered to a locker in Decathlon Centurion.

So I searched "Decathlon Centurion" on the Pudo app and it came up right away... Only to be contacted today by Mpumelelo, claiming to be the Ops Manager for TCG. He mentioned that I had booked the parcel incorrectly and the parcel somehow ended up in Westgate Mall CPT but it was booked for a different province.

So of course, I was confused because it didn't somehow end up there, I deposited it there and it should go to Centurion Decathlon as I selected.

So now he's telling me I need to rebook the parcel and pay again when I followed the prompts on your app.

This ops manager is also very *********** as he didn't understand my follow up questions and then referred me to someone else on WhatsApp Lee Ray from Pudo because he said he doesn't understand the Pudo app and website. How can you be an ops manager contacting a customer and say you're not fami**** with an app or website linked to your business? Pathetic!

Anyway, so now I'm chatting to Lee Ray from Pudo directly and God! Again, someone who doesn't flippen understand! I'm explaining to him that the parcel should go to Decathlon Centurion at Lifestyle Centre, however, the Pudo app doesn't have an option (or at least not in those exact words) so I'd like him to please check which locker it is at Decathlon Centurion Lifestyle Center so I can rebook it again.

And his response is just that "if there's no option, I can just send it to the kiosk" - really? That does not answer my question because you're expecting me to pay AGAIN when I searched the correct option but your app is incorrect? Ridiculous really!

No ownership and no empathy whatsoever.

So now I must not only pay again out of my own pocket because I cannot charge the customer again... And then I must inconvenience this customer who will already be receiving their parcel late, by telling her to go to a kiosk instead of the contactless option you guys advertise.

Do better! Fix your search options. Allow us to enter addresses instead. Enable the search function to pick up an address with any keyword linked to the relevant address.

Because if you check your website or app, if you search Centurion Decathlon, it definitely comes up but it comes up Brakfontein.
