I will never deal with a company who uses "The Courier Guy" in my life again

I cannot believe how a company can promise "same day delivery" and then not deliver on that promise. The ridiculous part is that the parcel had to be collected from Rosebank, Johannesburg and be delivered to Benoni, Johannesburg (so roughly an hour's drive if you include traffic). The parcel was collected shortly after 9am and loaded for delivery at 2pm on 28 November, 2018 and was supposed to be delivered to me by 5pm the same day. I waited at work until 5:15pm but nobody showed up. After questioning the matter, I was told that the driver's scanner was faulty and that he could not process deliveries. It is now 11am on the 29th of November, the parcel was loaded for delivery at 7:17am and has still not reached me. you'd expect a company to make a priority of late deliveries, and to have them delivered first. I am extremely upset as this was booked as a same day service for a reason, it was an urgent DELIVERY!!!
