funds from insurance claim covers cost of my debt

have an outstanding debt with them but they lost a parcel in a burnt out truck i told them to use the insurance claim funds to settle the debt - months down the line they still sending me invoices and their excuse ?????? They havent been paid out by the insurance company !!!! But they expect me to pay their account no thanks your money is with the insurance company so stop pestering me
