Frustrated with Courier Guy Service!!

Title: Extremely Frustrated with Courier Guy Delivery Service

I am very disappointed with the service I received today. This morning I got a message saying my parcel was out for delivery today (Saturday, 23 August). The delivery address is my work address, which is closed on weekends. According to the information available online, Courier Guy does not deliver over weekends, so I had no reason to expect a delivery today.

Still, I made a plan to go to my office during the morning and again in the afternoon to wait, as support had confirmed the parcel would be delivered between 8h00 and 17h00 and that the driver would phone me on arrival. At 16h45, I received an email saying the delivery was rescheduled due to the address being closed. The driver NEVER phoned me as promised — if he had, I would have been there to receive it.

Now I am told via email (no phone call) that they will attempt again in 24 hours, otherwise the parcel will be returned to the sender. This is completely unacceptable! I went out of my way to make sure I could collect it today, on a weekend, only to be let down by poor communication.

This parcel must be delivered on Monday, 25 August, as I cannot risk it being sent back to the sender due to Courier Guy’s lack of communication and incorrect weekend scheduling.
