Fails adadverti*****t and misleading delivery charge

The courier guy offers door to door delivery service which I paid for. Upon arrival of my delivery they call to ask me to meet the driver at a police station as they say my area is a high risk area therefore for the safety of their driver I need to go to the police station. For safety I completely understand however my issue which no one in their office is able to answer is when I selected door to door why did they take the fee for door to door delivery fully aware that they do not offer that service. Company's responds was to threaten me with lawyer when I expressed that they are misleading and lack of a better word 'de*****ing' the people in my area claiming fo provide a service which they do not.

I have no problem with the issue of safety with they are referring to however now why is the fee/charge for door to door delivery.
