Excellent value for money and superb customer care via WhatsApp
I've been using Pudo since it was launched, for about three years, and I've only had fantastic, efficient service. I buy and sell clothes on the Yaga platform, and I've sent about 150 sales and received about 50 purchases with Pudo. I'm a stills photography stylist, and I also receive multiple samples for my photo shoots with Pudo. I ONCE had a missing parcel, that's one out of well over 200 items sent/received, and I was super impressed with The Courier Guy's support via the WhatsApp line. My parcel was tracked down en route to Johannesburg, and on its return the driver even sent me a video showing the parcel in the van, en route to me. It was a simple case of a swapped parcel in the wrong locker. I've dropped boxes at 9am in a Sea Point locker, and they were delivered to Stellenbosch or Paarl the same day! I've sent boxes to myself when going on holiday in Plettenberg Bay. That's amazing, for R50-R60. That R50-R60 is true value for money and for my time. My only issue is not something that warrants a bad review: Our two Sea Point locker stations are permanently full. Forget about sending a parcel on a weekend; I set a timer to check availability every 30 minutes. I get auto-updates from customer care when no locker is available for my deliveries, and three times the friendly driver dropped it off at my home address at no extra cost. I had a very urgent box for a 1 July photo shoot, and it was delayed because no locker was availbale. I explained the urgency to customer care and could not believe the level of excellent service when it was delivered to my home on 29 June, a Saturday. I reported the full locker issue to customer care, who referred me to Nicole Erasmus, Pudo lease administrator. I received an instant reply, assuring me that they are already negotiating more locker space, with a promise that I would be the first to know. So I really don't get these bad reviews. Many are from people who made mistakes and then blame Pudo; others didn't adhere to the 36 hour rule. So come on, people, the WhatsApp customer care number is on the lockers and online; just use it, and drop off and collect within 36 hours.
