PUDOP***. I deposited a (Locker to Door) package on the 10th of September 2024 at Courier Guy, Rivonia, Johannesburg to Cape Town. The package was assigned for delivery on the 12th of September, and out for delivery at 06:39, then returned to the Hub at 12:44. I was surprised because someone was at the delivery address WAITING for the package. At 14:23 I called the Cape Town Hub to get clarification on WHY the package was RETURNED. The guy said the delivery address was incomplete. I know that must be a lie because I checked if the delivery address was correct multiple times before making the booking. I went on my app to check the address, and to my surprise, the address had the street name ONLY. I knew immediately, that it had been tampered with because the booking cannot be completed if the delivery address full details have not been entered on the system. The not-so-friendly gentleman I was on a call with said the delivery was scheduled for Monday. My question is where was the delivery going to be made on Monday if the address was incomplete and no one attempted to contact me to get the "correct address"? I wasted my time and money on an ********* company. It is a different story if there was no capacity for the delivery on the day, but to lie and temper with the address is *********. I will be going to fetch the package at the hub, I will never use Courier Guy again or Recommend it to anyone. A WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY. There is no convenience at all, it was just an inconvenience for me.
