double charge to have parcel returned to sender

sent a parcel and was quoted 170. bearing in mind slight variations of the weight etc courier guy charges me 280 and i therefore reject the price and ask for a return. wait for it...

courier guy not only charges me 280 for the orginal send but 280 again to have the parcel returned to sender
