Don't use The Courier Guy for DIRCO Apostilled Collections

Normally, the service is great, but they recently destroyed my original documents collected from Dirco, so I would not recommend them. I'm being difficult about this because when I first asked them to collect my documents from Dirco, I made it clear these are precious, irreplaceable documents. They assured me they understood and my documents would be safe. I even offered to pay for extra protection, but they insisted, "they have a system in place with Dirco." Some system! My previous 4-5 Dirco collections were smooth, with documents arriving in an envelope with a cardboard backing. But this last time, they just chucked my documents into a bag, irreversibly damaging the Dirco seal and the original document I had apostilled. I don't blame Dirco for this—transporting their apostilled documents is not their job. It was The Courier Guy's responsibility to ensure my document was safe.

I waited before becoming a typical social media complainer because I never do this, but after logging a complaint via formal channels, they mockingly just keep sending me my own emails back. Super frustrating. I needed these documents for a passport application with a deadline, and now my application is in jeopardy because I have to try and arrange for a copy, if that's even possible.
