Do not use PUDO (Courier Guy)
I booked a package to be delivered with Pudo and was not able to get to the drop off point, due to unforseen circumstances. I received a reminder email with my package pin number and when I tried to drop off my package, I was informed that my pin had expired. When I contacted customer support I was merely informed that I have 36 hours to deliver the package and if I miss the deadline then I lose my money. This is the response I received from customer support: "You will need to rebook your parcel in order to send it. You only have 36hrs to deposit a parcel and we do send reminders to ensure on time deposits. Please fami****ize yourself with the PUDO T's & Cs freely available on the website: https://www.pudo.co.za/imgs/PUDO_T&C.pdf 13.2.4 Should the booking be made, and the parcel the customer wishes to send is not placed within the PUDO Locker within 36 Hours of making the booking, the online booking will expire and no refund will be made to the customer."
As a business owner, parent and wife, I have to remember a million things. The PUDO reminder that was sent to me once and not several times as stated above, does not remind me that I only have 36 hours to drop off the package and should the pin lapse then PUDO will keep the money and I cannot get it back.
The communication from PUDO is shocking and it is *****ing. How am I meant to remember the Terms and conditions of all services I use in both my business and personal life? It is extremely inconsiderate of PUDO and Courier Guy. You are better off using Aramex or PEP.
