Dissatisfied Customer

I was meant to be the recipient of approximately R2500 stock from a supplier in Cape Town for resale by my NPO to raise funds for animal rescue organizations but the package never arrived. Four days after the parcel was supposed to have been received, the sender was notified that the vehicle with all the parcels contained therein was hijacked. The sender had arranged a Pudo parcel for delivery of my order. Upon attempting to claim for the lost items I have been advised that The Courier Guy only insure parcels for R1000 and that it is up to the sender to arrange third party insurance for the balance of the value of the parcel - although this is not an option available at the time of booking the Pudo parcel. Despite the lapse of numerous weeks, no insurance payout has been received. Whilst it is understandable that TCG has no control over being hijacked, the full value of the parcel contents should be reimbursed by the TCG insurer. No customer service from TCG, Would not recommend using PUDO
