Dissatisfaction about The Courier Guy service

On Wednesday I was called by an Indian guy who is working at The Courier Guy Stanger office to confirm my address for delivering my parcel from EMpangeni Vodacom shop, I told the guy exactly that I'm staying in a rural area called Dendethu, he then searched for it and asked me is it close to Dendethu Primary School and I rep**** that it's on the same D1654 road but before Dendethu Primary School. He then told me my parcel would be delivered on Thursday, and he said the driver was going to call me to get directions to my place.

On Thurday midday I received a call from the driver and he was asking me where were we going to meet as he was approaching Mandeni, I told him I'm waiting for him at Dendethu, he then said he was going to Isithebe. I waited and waited until I decided to call the driver and he said he would get back to me when he finished delivering at the house that he was at, I then dropped the phone.

I waited for more than an hour without the driver getting back to me, I then called him again and he said he was going back with my parcel because he wanted to confirm at the office if my delivering in my area doesn't require a surcharge and I was so amused by that as I had told the guy at the office my exact address the day before. I mean couldn't he at least call them to confirm that rather than going back with my parcel that I had long been waiting for and had been promised that I'd get it on Thursday.

I told him I was unhappy with that as I had told the office guy my exact address the day before and he said there was nothing he could do, if I was unhappy I should take it up with the office personnel.

As I'm writing this I'm fuming as I had promised my wife that she's getting her parcel tonight and now I've failed to keep the promise.

I write so that action can be taken for the failure to deliver my parcel, and I'm expecting it to be with me before 09h00 tomorrow morning.
