Disgrace to deal with The Courier Guy alias TCG

As a business owner dealing with a lot of businesses throughout South Africa, we experienced huge damages done by The Courier Guy alias TCG, whereby they just don't take any responsibility or solve these continues issues. They reported that damages incur between their depos, but after numerous calls & emails they just come back and state that they will take no responsibility. We are livid and expect them to urgently review their business integrity and liability that they caused to the market in SA. This is a disgrace and should be taken very seriously as no business will deal with them any more. "16/11/2022 - SHIPMENT: VTCZB3 - The following note has been added to the shipment: Good Day We regret to inform you of the following damages below. Kindly advise if we can continue with delivery or return the parcel to the sender. 1 x TV damaged The parcel is currently at the JHB Damages dept and awaiting feedback from the account holder. Parcels can only be kept here for a maximum of 1 day ( day of notification )and if no feedback is given electronically, then the parcel will be repacked and sent out for delivery. Our apologies for the inconvenience caused. Thank you kindly for your patience. This email is in regard to the following shipments: VTCZB3/BEZUIDENHOUT BIANCA 174607" On 24/11/2022, after numerous correspondence and evidence that our goods were in perfect good, well packaged condition, we sent another follow up: "Good day Deon and Morne. As you know it was reported to us, via email. That one of the TVs was damaged during the transport process from Richards bay to Johannesburg. Tazmin from the Damaged Parcel debarment confirm this. Tebogo from Ops department also confirmed that 1 TV was damaged. I then requested that the TVs must be delivered to our Lab. When the TVs were delivered to our lab, both were badly damaged. Now my question again, what is the next step and when ill The Courier Guy refund our client for the damaged TVs. We are in position of pictures how the client wrapped the TVs, moments before The Courier Guy driver collected it from him. I need you reply and commitment latest tomorrow, 24 November 2022 by 10h00. The client requested that we return his TVs and asked for confirmation of the return waybill. Your reply will be appreciated." On 28/11/2022, we received this unacceptable response and pathetic services from The Courier Guys as follows: "Morning As per discussions had with legal department the following is applicable as stated in The Courier Guy Terms and Conditions. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained or imp**** in this clause 11 (eleven), No assumption of liability by TCG is extended to the following, which includes, but is not limited to: second hand consignments, mechanical or electrical goods unless contained in brand new and original packaging. I you have any further questions regarding the claim you can communicate directly to *** Regards, Deon Van Rooyen"

This is but just one of the complaints that we have in line against The Courier Guy in the past year. They just don't take no responsibility, nor do they look after their client's property.
