DISAPPOINTMENT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE HANDLED BETWEEN JHB BRANCH AND NELSPRUIT BRANCH
I have been using Courier guy for many years (thought I might just mention it), without any hassle. I had to send a parcel to Nelspruit, which I measured and weighed myself. To my dismay, apparently, the Jhb branch informed me that their swad system picked up that these were incorrect and an additional amount had to be paid. I wanted to make sure what the exact amount was, but the parcel had already reached their hub in Nelspruit. In other words, I was waiting for a said amount and would've paid it gladly. Having waiting ALL day just for the Nelspruit branch to send through the correct measurements (which I think is a load of bull), I managed to speak to the Jhb branch once again. Maswasi Nkosi has also been waiting ALL day just for the measurements, in stead of picking up a phone and resolving the issue with their Nelspruit branch. Needless to say more than 12 hours later my package has STILL not reached my client which in turn needed to deliver this to his client. It is SHOCKING, to say the least, how CUSTOMER SERVICE, does not feature any longer in the SA we live in! Especially from a Courier service that advertises that they are the BEST!!!!!!!!! Very disappointing and will look for alternative couriers in future!!!!!!!!!!!!1
In addition I need to inform the public that the 1st dispute of the measurements of my parcel was sent as R552 difference that needed to be paid in (this is an addition to the initial amount of R217.35) for an overnight service to Nelspruit.
I refused to pay this amount, until Nelspruit had confirmed, according to them, what the difference in payment was.
After venting to the Nelspruit and Jhb branch how I felt about this whole experience, the Nelspruit branch eventually sent through new measurements with an additional amount of R92 to be paid.
Now, public, you tell me, I would've been out of pocket with R460 if I was willing to just pay up the initial difference, not so?
I rest my case people. DO NOT USE THE COURIER GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
