Destroyer of fragile goods; takes no responsibility, requires absurd evidence, lack of response.

The Courier Guy destroyed a large perspex magazine display, took no responsibility, then messed up our account and threatened to hand us over after we had been querying the matter for a year and a half without getting a response. We have it in writing from the supplier that they asked the driver to be careful with the package as it is fragile and then they saw him literally throw it into the back of the truck. When it arrived we took photos and sent these in. We asked for a refund and were told that they would only refund the delivery fee, which never happened. When we queried the account we were told the lady that deals with it was on maternity leave and then there system changed. After about 15 attempts to get this resolved (no exaggeration) from our side we were threatened with being handed over for collection. Eventually we managed to get this resolved only to be told we had to open a new account and would not be given credit because of the non-payment. I then queried this further and made a complaint with their head office. They have a policy of not taking responsibility for glass which apparently covers perspex. They then also said that there is no evidence of mishandling from their side which is absurd. You have a supplier willing to testify what they saw and the goods arrived literally in pieces and were sent photographic evidence! I would never send anything remotely fragile or valuable with this company.
