Dented suitcase

Good day

I recently send a parcel from Rustenburg to Kempton Park and my parcel was dented by whoever was transporting it and when I raise the matter with the courier guy help desk via email I was told I did not package my parcel correctly and mind u the parcel was in.a proper box but somehow it was mishandled and the package inside that was a steel.suitcase was dented. Now I am expected to be responsible for their driver's carelessness towards out parcel. I need answers from them and the only thing I am getting is they are not liable for any damage caused so who is? I have pictures of the package and the damage of the suitcase.
