Damages to Yamaha Clavinova Piano

<p>I recently bought a pre-loved Yamaha Clavinova Piano that was only used once and which was still in awesome condition (plastic wrapping still on the foot pedals). The challenge came in when I needed to move it from Pretoria to East London. The seller diligently cling wrapped the piano and then wrapped the packaged in several layers of bubble wrap. He also stuck on fragile and glass stickers just to make sure that care was taken with handling. Weighing only 65kgs, this package should have been a relatively easy move. However nothing in life goes to plan and the Piano's beautiful wooden body was negligently damaged in just about all corners with one edge being completely bashed in. Damages ~R3000-R4000. The Courier Guy took their time to examine "video evidence" and then sent me a photo of something that not even closely resembled my package being moved in their warehouse on a forklift. This package was not properly wrapped and as such the company claimed no responsibility. What a farce! If you are not going to act honourably be upfront about it. Do not try to weasel out of your accountabilities by fabricating "evidence" to suit your end game. A very disappointed customer!</p>
