Damaged goods and clueless service

Reference TCG***4. I bought three items on an Auction in George and had them couriered up to JHB. All items were bubble wrapped and boxed - a glass bowl, a vase and a Teak standing Lamp. The Courier Guy managed to break the Teak Lamp Stand in half and also broke the bowl. Their "damages" team still don't know who to contact as they claim they tried to get hold of me... no email received and no calls even though all my details are clearly captured on the waybill. They tried to blame the breakages on the packaging, but it is clear that a Teak standing lamp would take some effort to break in two. poor service and obviously no care was taken in couriering my goods. I will definitely go out of my way to ensure I never have to make use of their services.
