Courier guy overnight takes 2 nights

Please guys dont fall for the courier guys overnight package delivery i placed an order yesterday before 12 to be picked up in nelspruit and delivered to sasolburg today, so on the day when it should be delivered they told me that i would only recieve the package tomorrow i asked the guy can he explain to me what is the definition of overnight he only told me that their overnight only starts when the package is picked up so now its my problem that they only picked up the package on the day that i already wanted it delivered
