Courier guy man handling goods . Damaging goods

My wife recently sent a brass lamp with courier guy to a customer of ours the item was heavily bubble wrapped and I when handing to the courier guy I told them to place fragile stickers on the item

Today my wife’s customer received the lamp heavily damaged

The item is rare we expect damages to be paid

This is not acceptable
