Courier Guy keeping packages and not responding

Total of 8 boxes was sent from Western Cape to Randburg Gauteng. Email was received stating that 1 box had a broken bottle inside. Confirmation was given that the box must be delivered to the recipient in any way.

The total of 7 boxes was delivered on Monday 8 December. Tracking shows that the last box was delivered on Monday evening at 18:27 – the recipient offices close at 16:30 so no one was there to receive this box.

We have been requesting courier guy numerous times, to provide signed proof of delivery for 8 boxes but are getting no response.

Last correspondence received from Lucky Mpela (courier guy) confirmed that the box is still at Johannesburg Damages Department but we are not receiving ANY response as to when this box will be delivered. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Courier guy needs to speak up and respond as this is plain dishonesty as they are not providing any information on keeping property that is not theirs
