Courier guy is a ****

I have sent my parcel through what they call " OVER NIGHT DELIVERY" they told me i will receive my parcel on Thursday and im calling them today they are now telling me that my parcel will be here on Monday. This delay is going to cost me money so i need my parcel or they must pay the damage they will cost to my company. Or do we need to open a case?
