Consumer Affairs Office has been notified

On Wednesday 30 November 2016 I booked and paid for an overnight package to be collected at 5pm (cut off time) so that it could be couriered overnight to Beacon Bay. The next day I used the tracking number to see where the parcel was. It said that the package had been dispatched for delivery at about 12pm. Later on that day I had been told by my client that it was still not delivered. I told her they may be running late. Keep in mind this is supposed to be overnight. I called the Johannesburg office at about 5pm and get told, “Oh. Well, it is an outlying area so maybe thats why it hasn’t been delivered yet.” At 6pm the package was still not delivered. On the 2nd December I phoned East London at 8:30am to find out where the package is. I get through to Paul who used the exact excuse I was told would be used: “They were there but no one was at home to sign for it.” My client told me she was there all day and so was the rest of her family. No one knocked. I asked to speak to someone senior and was put through to someone who told me no notes were made about no one being there but that they would sort it out immediately. 20 minutes after the phone call the package was delivered but it was still a day late. I paid for overnight delivery. Not two day delivery.

2nd December I emailed the HR and Franchise Manager, Helga, who has not provided anything but an excuse for their poor service and communication. Nothing.
