Can they not just let you know when they will be doing the delivery.

I wish this courier service could just call you before they rock up at your house or to let you know they will be dropping off your package so that you can make sure that you are home or have organised someone to collect your parcel. I also wish they would give you more than just 2 minutes to wait at your gate before just turning around and leaving. I feel this is poorly organised as they do not communicate with their clients. This has made the whole process for this delivery rather frustrating. And I'm sure due to the fact that the courier could not just give me 5 minutes to organise someone to collect my parcel, it will not be delivered today, however I feel this could all be avoided had hey just made the effort to contact me and let me know more or less the time that they would be doing the delivery.
