Broken parcel - Terrible delivery and service

Terrible delivery and service company.

We sent mugs to our customers which was packaged in a box and bubble wrapped. On the portal, I booked in 12 parcels to be collected which is quite a lot for the delivery person to carry.

I offered to assist him to his vehicle, but he said he would manage. After the deliveries were made, some of our customers emailed saying that some of the mugs were broken.

I had a few extra mugs, bubble wrapped for a future delivery and did a quick test to see whether the issue was on my end. After checking that if the parcel were to be bumped slightly or dropped, the result was this would not cause a broken item. So my concern is that they either threw the packages excessively or with force.

I also declared online when booking that the items are mugs. Very disappointing and would probably look for another company to assist with future orders. As a delivery company, you should focus on the genuine care of each parcel and this was the opposite. Also, if you can see that there are many parcels booked, why not implement a container or mobile trolley for the delivery person... They surely cant carry 50 packages at once.
