BE CAREFUL OF COURIER GUY SERVICE

I sent a parcel on the 2nd of February through their drop off point Kotwal motor spares in Westonaria then started tracking it the following day using the pudo app, it showed that it was picked up and its in transit, but it never reached its destination when I tracked through the website they told me it's canceled because there's nothing in the locker I didn't put anything inside, now my question is why would I pay a courier fee and then put nothing on the locker, secondly what did they pick up that's written on the package status that on the 3rd February parcel picked up. Now I have been trying to get answers from thier email and calls but no one is willing to help me
