Bad service from The Courier Guy

Please be very careful to send your valuables with The Courier Guy. I arranged for my carpets to be sent from Cape Town to the Ballito branch just to be informed that the truck got hijacked in the Eastern Cape. The invoice for my carpet.was R1740 and I got offered R1000 from The Courier Guy and they informed me that they don't have insurance on the goods that they transport. I think this is unacceptable. If I had to have my own insurance they should have given me that option or at least inform me that.they have no insurance for the goods in transit. I would recommend that you find a reputable company to transport your goods because in these times with crime escalating on a daily basis your goods are not safe with The Courier Guy.
