Bad service/ business sense

I am expecting a delivery from Monday , so they called to say they will deliver today between 10 and 12. Just at 12 I call the company to trace my parcel. The guy said he is driving back to Ranburg because the protest ppl that are marching to union building.He did not even call to say I am close by come collect or something
