Bad service

On 20 March 2023 I wanted to send a parcel to Keimouth in the Eastern Cape. After numerous attempts I eventually got the Pudo App downloaded, and made a payment into the App account. On handing in the parcel at The Courier Guy's, I was informed that once delivered the receiver only has 48 hours to collect the parcel from the locker.

Unfortunately I was not aware of this and since the receiver stays in an isolated area in the old Transkei, there was a chance the parcel won't be collected in the given 48 hours.

I informed the person at The Courier Guy's that I can't take the chance of sending via Pudo and will have to make other arrangements. I then inquired about a refund on the money I paid into the App account and was told to send an email to the support group of which she gave me the email address. I sent an email that same day.

Two days later I had still not received any feedback on my query so I went onto their website and sent a letter via the web where I received a computer generated letter saying that due to large volumes of queries my query is in a queue. I later received an email asking if anyone has contacted me yet to which I rep**** "no".

It has now been more than two weeks and I have still not been contacted by this company regarding the refund query.

I ended up sending my parcel via PAXI from Pep stores where I got good service and the recipients have up to 2 weeks to collect their parcels.
