Appalling service and system - Pudo the Courier Guy
Some of the worst service I've had for a long time. I definitely wont use the Courier Guy or Pudo again, not that I intended to in the first place!
I paid for door to door delivery and the company I purchased the goods from - used Pudo the Courier Guy, without notifying me.
Apart from the inconvenience - this drop off and pick up service is relatively expensive. They basically get the sender and receiver to do all the work and then the Courier Guy charges you almost the same rate that other companies do for home delivery.
My first and only experience with Pudo the Courier Guy was disastrous. I received an email from a company I'd never heard of called - Pudo which sounded like it had something to do with an un-house trained dog. I assumed the email was spam or phishing - I hadn't received any notification of a change in courier service.
The Pudo email didnt have the correct pick up address - the pickup center listed in the email is according to Google permanently closed. So I contacted the Courier Guy for assistance - and was told I have 24 hours to pick up the parcel. I said I understand that but from where? Their customer care said read the email and stopped responding.
I scanned the QR code in the email - but that didn't work. There was no link or explanation where to go if the pick up center was closed and how to collect the parcel. It would have been nice to know where the lockers are. Are they in some shopping center? Is it safe to pick up the items? Is there someone on duty at the pick up spot? What about security etc. What time are lockers accessible? Why do we only have 1.5 days to collect the parcel before it is sent back to the Courier Guy depot?
The bottom line is Pudo is a badly conceptualized and realized system - made worse by dismissive and some would say rude customer service. My recommendation is (and that of the majority of the reviewers below) - dont use The Courier Guy or Pudo - you will most likely lose your parcel and all of your customers and some of your hair.
