Appalling service!!

I believe the time to formally call out and report The Courier Guy to the relevant authorities is long overdue. This company appears to be operating in a manner that is both misleading and unacceptable, effectively taking advantage of hardworking South Africans while consistently delivering poor service. They advertise same-day and overnight delivery options, yet repeatedly fail to honour these commitments—despite charging customers accordingly. My concerns are based on multiple incidents: Firstly, during a previous delivery, a driver made inappropriate advances toward my 19-year-old daughter. This constitutes ***ual harassment and raises serious concerns about the company’s hiring practices. It is deeply troubling to consider that there may be inadequate screening or background checks conducted on their employees. Furthermore, my interactions with their customer service team have been equally disappointing, marked by a lack of professionalism and accountability. Secondly, I paid for a same-day local delivery service, yet the parcel was only delivered five days later—and only after I threatened to open a theft case. Despite raising a formal complaint regarding the incorrect charges, my attempts to engage the company via email and their WhatsApp channel were completely ignored. Thirdly, I recently booked an overnight local delivery. Two days later, the parcel remains undelivered, with no communication, apology, or explanation provided. This level of disregard for customers is unacceptable. Given this repeated pattern of behaviour, I will be escalating this matter to the relevant regulatory and legislative bodies in South Africa. I also urge other affected customers to come forward and report similar experiences. It is only through collective action that companies like this can be held accountable. Additionally, I believe it is time for South African media houses to investigate and expose the ongoing service failures and complacency within this organisation. South Africans deserve reliable, respectful, and professional service—especially when we are paying for it.
