****** and DISCRETIONARY treatment from The Courier Guy Barberton

What an appalling experience we are subjected to by ****** and very discriminatory staff at The Courier Guy in Barberton. All this after paying R16 180 to transport our merchandise from Pretoria to Barberton! Waybill TCG***2. We were informed on the 2nd June that our merchandise could be delivered by Wednesday, 4 June 2025, yet, we are still yet to receive the entire merchandise. Yesterday we even enquired with The Courier Guy in Nelspruit to find out the location of our products, a very rude lady told us to come and fetch it ourselves! The audacity! This after we paid R16 180!! After this she told us the merchandise “may” be in Barberton, but refused to give their number, telling us to google the number. Which we had to do, when we called the Barberton branch, we got through to a very rude and ****** woman called Marissa or Marinette, with zero customer service, unless good customer service is only reserved for white people. Her manner was not only rude but very ****** and condescending. She rudely informed us that they do not have a truck big enough to deliver our merchandise! Did the Courier Guy not know this when they happily took our R16 180? Having dealt with The Courier Guy many times, it seems that the Nelspruit and Barberton branches have a mandate to be exceptionally rude and not render efficient service to Black people.

I am certain that if we were white, we would not have been told: 1. To collect our own merchandise after paying a hefty delivery fee 2. To google the Barberton branch numbers 3. That The Courier Guy does not have a big enough truck to render a oaid for service 4. That we will not receive all our merchandise until next week because they only deliver Monday to Thursday, this after keep our merchandise this whole weeky!! No plan or initiative was taken to ensure that our merchandise was delivered this week. I am not sure if we had not fought what would’ve happened.

This service is appalling! My dad had to to even drive to the Barberton branch today, and be subjected to RUDE, ****** white people that are happy to receive money from Black people but are so hateful that they can’t help but treat us with such disdain!

If The Courier Guy only wants to render an efficient service to certain races, then do not take our money!

Can our merchandise be delivered this week still! It cannot possibly be our problem that there are no trucks to take our entire order, the van that delivered a 1/4 (after we had to fight) of our merchandise today can do multiple trips tomorrow and ensure that the promised timeline is not completely thrown off. We are disappointed and appalled!
